Shira Samuels-Shragg on joining the AMC roster: “I am honored to join the AMC roster, which features conductors I greatly admire. Shira is the newly appointed assistant conductor of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, beginning in the 2024/25 season. She was recently selected for the Dallas Opera’s Hart Institute, and as a 2024 mentee of the Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship.
